To avoid foot problems, be sure to wear new shoes in training before actual competition and thoroughly break them in. Also be sure to wear thick socks to avoid blisters and rubbing from all of the movement you do in the ring. Doug Ward is the President and Trainer for the Underground Boxing Company.
