CEDRIC KUSHNER PROMOTIONS
BRINGS EVERLAST SERIES TO CAESARS PALACE FRIDAY, JULY 20

LAS VEGAS, Nev.-Attila "The Hun" Levin of Sweden, one of the most highly regarded young heavyweights in the world, meets hard-hitting Ray Austin of Cleveland in one of two 10-round heavyweight co-main events Friday, July 20, at Caesars Palace on the "Everlast Heavyweight Explosion" boxing series presented by Cedric Kushner Promotions.

This is the first fight card in the new 5,000-seat Caesars Palace Pavilion.

Robert Davis of Akron, Ohio, faces Sedreck Fields of Richmond, Va., in the other 10-round heavyweight co-main event on the nationally and internationally televised card.

The winner between Levin and Austin could earn a top 10 ranking. The 24-year-old Levin, who's trained by the legendary Angelo Dundee, has a record of 19-1 with 16 knockouts while the 30-year-old Austin has a mark of 15-2 with 12 knockouts.

The card takes place one day before undefeated World Boxing Council welterweight champion Shane Mosley defends against Adrian Stone at Caesars Palace.

Also on the seven-bout card will be Las Vegas heavyweights Todd Diggs and Mark Tullius in separate four-round bouts.

The all-heavyweight card starts at 7 p.m. (Pacific) with doors to the Caesars Palace Pavilion opening at 6.

Tickets, priced at $20 and $40 with all seats reserved, are available at the Caesars Palace Forum Casino box office from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Tickets also can be purchased by calling (702) 731-7865 or (800) 634-6698 from 8 a.m. to midnight daily.

Kushner has been promoting cards in Las Vegas since 1993. He presents more than 50 world championship and non-title cards a year in North America, Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and Africa.

Caesars Palace has been hosting major world championship fights for four decades, earning the well-deserved reputation as "The Home of Champions." Caesars Palace is owned and operated by Las Vegas-based Park Place Entertainment, Inc., the world's largest gaming company with 29 properties worldwide.

Everlast has been at the forefront of boxing equipment for almost 100 years.

Other fights on the card include Talmadge Griffis of Colorado Springs, Colo., against Lovy Page of Dallas in a six-round bout; Roman Bugaji of Pembroke Pines, Fla., against Charles Hatcher of Columbus, Ohio, in another six-round fight; and undefeated Willie Palms of Jersey City, N.J., against Derrell Dixon of Portland, Ore., in a third six-round bout.

Diggs faces Freddy Gatica of Austin, Texas, while Tullius meets Will Picket of Jersey City, N.J.

Levin, originally from Stockholm and now living in Pembroke Pines, Fla., has won five straight, all by knockout.

Austin is coming off a fourth-round knockout of Faii Falamoe April 28 in LaPorte, Ind.
